[ Atsushi had been out all day giving little gifts to his potential friends, that he didn't make it back to their place until a little later. When he gets back home and puts his stuff away, he walks off to the kitchen area and heats up a plate of curry for En. He was a little busy making a bunch of this stuff for other people.
He then wandered into the living room area of their apartment and gently sat a box down on top of En's back. ]
[ As always, Atsushi had been more productive than En. In a terrible turn of events, En needed to work this morning... so he could have enough money for today. It was kind of weird for it to be Christmas again so soon. In fact, it felt like they'd just celebrated it.
So while Atsushi is being Atsushi later in the day, En is collapsed face down on the couch, attempting to be dead to the world. He's got that odd feeling of being too tired to sleep. It's weird and he hates it. But there's something weighing down on his back, and he immediately knows it was worth it to go to work today to get that extra money. ]
It's nothing too exciting, but I figured since everyone else is in the spirit of gift giving, I couldn't just leave you out. I'm also heating up some curry for you.
[ Atsushi smiles warmly and sits down on the edge of the couch. ]
You know, you went through a lot of trouble, considering we just celebrated Christmas back home.
[ But to show he's grateful, En sits up. Slowly. Augh. Then he turns toward him with a tiny smile as he reaches around to grab the box Atsushi had put on him. ]
Anyway, thanks, Atsushi. I wasn't sure what you wanted to do about re-celebrating Christmas, so I got you something, too.
[ He nods his head toward his bedroom, where there's a wrapped gift inside a shopping bag. ]
You can't say that right after you give me a gift, you know. "You didn't have to get me anything, but I got you something."
[ Gosh. He's not that shallow of a person!! If Atsushi hadn't gotten him anything, he could always save it and regift it to him later. ]
Anyway, thanks, Atsushi. Ah, and Merry Christmas Part Deux, I guess.
[ En gets to work on opening his box. Near the door in his room is the shopping bag where En stored Atsushi's gift. Although it's still in the bag, it IS wrapped surprisingly neatly in green wrapping paper with snowflakes and a dark blue accompanying ribbon and bow. It's a pretty big box, because although he took effort to actually go get Atsushi something for Christmas, he put everything in one box. So inside that box are five jigsaw puzzles of varying difficulty, a box of hot chocolate, a leather case for his glasses, a warm hat and a warm sweater (note: does not come with model). It may look a lot, but most of it was cheap like the hot chocolate and puzzles. It was hard to "decide" on one good gift so he just got a bunch to make his decision-making life easier. ]
[ Atsushi laughs and moves to sit down next to him on the couch now that there is more room. He pulls the sweater out and slips it on over his shirt. ]
[ Atsushi glances at En with a sad smile on his face. It's like he could read Atsushi's mind or something. That's how he was starting to feel before En bumped into him and saved him from that strange plant reaction. ]
Yeah....
[ There was a small pause. ]
Son't fall asleep, En. Im heating up some curry for you.
Never. Sure, it's not something I'd be able to eat every single day, but that's just because it'd be boring. That doesn't mean I think it'd taste bad in comparison to anything else.

I was debating on whether I should get you something or not, but I ended up deciding to in the end. You... didn't have to get me anything though.
[ He slowly gets up and moves to the bedroom to go see what he could find. ]
[ If En opens the box while Atsushi is away he'll find some gloves and a nifty scarf. ]

En-chan... you didn't have to do so much.

[ He actually got everything from the same store. ]
I hope you like it.

I like mine.
[ Now he can be lazy AND warm. ]

[ His voice is light and teasing. How could anyone not know Atsushi was making curry? It does have a certain way of filling rooms with its flavor. ]
Smells good, too.

And here I thought you might be getting tired of my curry.
